You should jack the car up from the front cross member behind the crumple tube using a trolley jack with a rubber pad ( or 6 x 4 piece of wood to spread the load and use something to protect the frame ) and axle stands should be placed under the reinforced jacking points located at the corner of the underbody where the doors meet the front wing. I have also heard of windscreen's cracking from being jacked up one corner at a time as the underbody twists so its worth jacking from the center to lift the entire front of the car when ever possible.
