hi

this seems strange, he says the engine is fine but won't start due 
to flat battery.....for his £10000 you would of thought he could put 
a £40 battery in!.
therefore how long has it been standing, more than a couple of years 
and lots may need sorting, clutch hydraulics, brakes etc, fuel 
system.
my caliper rebuilds, all discs and pads was about £400.
tyes will be shot after 15 years
rears about £100 each min fronts 40-50 each
could be tank clean, new injectors, pump, boot etc etc so what looks 
a cheap motor soon isn't.
looks as if struts have been done as after 15 years standing, 
wouldn't they be droopy?

is it really possible to have it that long and not register? has he 
driven it on US plates and would insurers cover this for that long?

what were they thinking with that interior, you'd have to live with 
it or spend lots of cash getting back to stock.
i'd say worth about £6000-£7000 depending on frame condition and 
panels
