Yea when Mr O'Malley was doing my gearbox conversion he used a Renault 30 gearbox. The donor car had been in a field for years. He rebuilt the box and put it in my car, and used a clutch and bellhousing from a Renault 25 turbo which does the job nicely. I have never driven another De Lorean but Paul was impressed with the acceleration.
 
Anywho, I wouldnt mind a full engine rebuilt, maybe port and polish and have the crank shaft balanced etc etc. Hopefully try and get it done for Eurofest but it will be expensive and I'd rather have a nice new interior.
 
I have posted pics under the folder Gearbox. Shows my car undergoing intensive surgury lol (automatic to manual, and drivers door change). Also a few more restoration pics.
