Hi
My wife owns a 2004 1.6 Beetle. They are great...like new minis they hold there value well and the build quality is excellent as wyou would expect from VW.
It is a bit of a girls car IMHO...it has a vase for a flower, purple dash lights, and sunglasses holder...the mirrors in the sun viosors have to be slid open and when you do a light comes on...i assume for make up purposes...!
Seriously though it is a great car and she loves it...i thought it would be tricky to drive as it has a long dash area...but when you are driving you hardly notice it..! The demister is amazing...instantaneous!
The boot is not enormous and the back seats are obviously accessed by tipping the front seats forward...but hey...you do not by beetles for practicality!
Hope that helps...i just sold my mini 1000 for a very good price...i have now bought a right old banger a renault 5 with 9 months tax and MOT for £200...Bargain...! The profit i made on my mini will go towards fixing the dents in my delorean doors and the whole car being regrained!!!! I have it booked in to PJ Grady in January..I cannot wait...i have the delorean running quite well so it is defo time to get on with the cosmetic work!
Nice to meet some of you on Sunday at the NEC...!
Take Care
Craig
