Hi all,
Just to echo everyone else's comments about yesterday.
It was an absolutely fantastic day, with a superb atmosphere throughout (especially in the cinema!). Well done Kevin, you are a top bloke for organising the whole thing and making it one of the best club events so far!
I just about managed to last through all three movies! (I wouldn't have missed them for the world!) I'd only seen part 3 on the cinema before, so it was a real treat. Despite being a little bit crackly in places they have quite literally stood the test of time, and just goes to show it doesn't have to be a CGI overload to make a truly great film.
If all that wasn't enough we were then treated to some late night DeLorean fun in the car park courtesy of Flopsy & Sorbet! (I have the video evidence!) It kind of reminded me of the scene from bttf of the Twin Pines mall chase! (very cool!)
Great to see everyone again, and meet some new faces as well. I may have even played a part in signing up another member too!
Chris; thanks for finding the time in the busy schedule to let me have a seat in Backy, yet another highlight from the day! :O)
I took loads of photos and video which I'll post soon. (when I figure out how to do it!)
Phew, roll on the NEC! :O)
All the best
Carl

P.S. Alan; great to see you mate, thanks again for everything. Bet you wish you had brought Smokey now though! :O)

Well, ive just got back home to Sheffield after stopping the night in South Basildon. I must say thanks to Kevin for organising such a wonderful day out. I loved every moment.
Watching BTTF1 in the movies brought back some good memories. Back then, I remember the cinema attendants used to walk down the isle with dimly illuminated box's selling icecreams and cigarettes. Anyone else remember that? And watching BTTF1 through a haze of tobacco smoke?
It was nice to see all the familiar faces again, including the ones Ive only seen pictures of, but never actually met until yesterday.
Chris Hawes and Chris Parnham both sporting rather noisy exhaust systems on their D's, has left me wanting one for BAKNTIM now :^p
Chrispy?...... Did you know you actually have FLAMES coming out of your exhaust ! LOL.
A day very much to remember, and one for the record books too.
Anyone know the final count?
