RE: [doc] tax exempt

I've got a Classic Beetle, it was first registered in Jan 1972. I
believe '72 was the last year of tax exemption.  As long as the vehicle
was constructed before 1 January 1973 you can tax it in the historic
vehicle class.  You still have a disc to display but it has 'Historic'
and 'Nil' fund on it.  Its a bit of a shame the Gov stopped this class,
they must have realised they were going to loose too much revenue!

Question - When does a car qualify for road tax ememption, I was under
the impression it had to be 25 years old but I noticed a 30 year old bug
the other day with reduced road tax????????????? and yet some others
appear to have to pay road tax?
