It was a 30 minute program. He spent 29 minutes of it ranting. :)
Hell, I could spend 30 minutes making ANY car look bad.. but I could
spend a lot longer talking about the DeLorean's strengths (he did not).

Ah I getcha... it's been on of QW's favourite digs though. He always
brings the "getting locked in the car" problem up.

Agreed.

Agreed. :)

It's a fact that most DeLoreans had a pretty poor build quality - but
you check the first year run of a £100,000 Aston Martin DB7 or a
£40,000 TVR (any model) and you'll find panel gaps, leaking windows,
and seizing engines galore. Besides, the DeLorean is literally just
bolted together - what they didn't do in '81 has been probably redone
by now and will be better than "new" :)

Agreed. The DeLorean was overly clever for her day - and was a victim
of circumstance. A few more years, a V8, and a "Club sport" model (no
fancy bits) and history could have been quite different. <sigh>. Oh well!

Heh.. Either way, Security (you'll hold us back), or Secretary (you
give us our number in line ;) )
