My D' had white lettered 'Armstrong True-Trac' on the back when I got
her - http://www.fab1.net/6772-1.JPG and plain on the front.
Personally I didn't think it looked bad just on the back, but I
wouldn't want both back and front lettered, I think it would look too
much (IMHO). Of course it's all down to personal taste, but I think
lettered tyres draw your eyes to them as a focul point instead of the
car itself :-))
If you like lettered tyres then you can get matching tyres from
Cooper Cobra next time you have a swap, lettered up in white already
(the only manufacturer I could find that make matching front and rear
tyres in the D' sizes), they are just a tad more expensive than the
Pirelli's I just had fitted.
