[doc] OT - perk of the job?

Hi all,
 
Bit OT, but then again it does still relate to a mad looking 2dr car
with a French engine and gearbox?.
 
At work we had ordered in from Renault UK a 2004 Renaultsport Clio V6
that a customer wanted to see.  What a mad car!  Where a Clio?s rear
seats and boot normally are, is a 3 litre V6 and 6 speed gearbox which
is putting out 255bhp.  My colleague Mike, after the boss had buggered
off, threw me the keys and told me to make the most of it as I?m leaving
on Tuesday.  Well I didn?t need telling twice and we took the car out
for a blast.
 
I have driven some quick and well engineered cars over the last 16
years, but this was phenomenal.  And the noise!  But the car was still
tame round town, the suspension wasn?t harsh like on the 182 and it was
so controllable. I can see why Jeremy Clarkson wants one in his top ten
garage! 
 
If I ever have the money, a Clio V6 will definitely be a stable mate for
Flopsy ? although this one, at £22,000 is **slightly** out of reach just
now ;o)
