Unless the compressor is seized up, then it probably just wants
re-gassing. They automatically fail to work if the pressure falls too
low. Go to a local garage that uses the old gas. If you do need a
compressor, you can but a 5 piston Citroen one s/hand for about £50. I
did.

Is changing the Compressor on the Air Con a simple job?
Is it the cause of most delorean a/c failures?
Is it the most expensive part of the a/c to go wrong?
If the air con has not been running for a while what other parts
should be purchased and installed?
