Hi,
I have done a few rear wheel bearings on the delorean.
if you put the car in gear and try open the hub nut you may be lucky and
it will come free.
but i feel that this will not happen in most cases. what i would do is get a
friend to
sit in the car and put their foot on the brake pedal and apply enough
pressure to
lock the rear wheels while you try to open it.
I done this on Alistairs pilot 25 and managed to get it open, but in saying
that i also
had to use a ten foot long pipe on a 3 quarter inch socket !
As for the rear calipers you will need a half inch socket set and a
extension bar.
the rear hub carrier has a coil in it for threads so i would not try
shocking it free as this may
damage the coil.
