Hi John.
The blue socket is for the fan fail relay.
This didn't work originally so the temporary factory fix was the
setup you have.
I strongly advise you to bite the bullet and invest in a FANZILLA
from PJ Grady. I know there's other solutions, but FANZILLA works
great. I have it installed in my DeLorean.
Other than that, you should swap your melted fusebox with a new one.
DMC Houston has reproduced this item.
Yes, I know you have inline fuses as replacement, but wouldn't you
rather have it the way it's supposed to be?
