John
I have found the best place to fit the alarm is in the engine bay on the
left hand side. The loom can then be run though the bulkhead(firewall) using
a bigger grommet where the lambda cable passes through. It is then only a
short distance to the fuse tray where all the lives, earths, indicator light
feeds and immobilization circuits that you require, and all wiring
connections away from the outside elements. The engine bay lamp switch is
also right next to it to connect the door circuit trip as well.
