Re: [doc] Non Start - Advice Please




Hi Robin,
         I have a jump pack also but this will have no effect.
I have not fully resolved the problem yet. I have replaced
the entire ignition system, Coil, leads, relay, resistors, etc.
The only thing that appeared to work was taking Warren's advice
and checking the plugs on the cold start/thermo time switch.
It then fired up.
It may be a series of diffrent problems. As I know things don't
sound right in the fuel pump area.
My theroy at the moment is that the fuel pressure is restricted
somewhere, and this causes the cold start valve and injectors to
not supply enough fuel on cold start up.
Continued cranking of the engine does supply fuel as I can smell it.
But the engine floods.
  Intresting problem, strange to that both cars seam to be suffering
the same problem.
