Without wishing to sound like a stuck record/patronising or
condescending or any of those other things that happen through
misinterpreted emails,
You *have* checked all your fuses right? Particularly 1&7...
A working rev counter is not necessarily an indication of a working RPM
relay, since they share the same signal line, however, a working fuel
pump when cranking -is- a sign the RPM is working (at least partially)
There is this strange obsession with the cold start valve/thermo time
switch being the root of all evil when it comes to non-cold-starters, I
know of at least two cars that start perfectly well without the cold
start valve connected!
Do some pulling and re-plugging of fuses and relays, crappy connections
here are the common cause of electrical failures....
