Hi Alistair, all,

Glen Hale in Walsall has been developing a tracking unit for the DeLorean which works in conjunction with your mobile phone. The prototype unit is currently 90% installed on my D, and we're hoping to have it up and running ready for the meet on May 2nd if anyone wants to have a peep. 

One of the features is that if (heaven forbid) the car is stolen, you can 'text it' and it texts you back, telling you its exact grid reference and even the speed the car is travelling at. There's also a function to shut off the engine via text message and lock the doors for a bit more peace of mind.
