Classics on the Common 2005 is confirmed for;



Wednesday 27th July 2005





Our web maestro is mad busy with work at the moment so has not yet had
the opportunity to update the website, so this email is sent to give you
a brief update on last years event and some details of this years event
and how to book for 2005.



2004 event attracted over 2,000 vehicles and raised £3,000 for local
charities. The changes introduced last year to             address
traffic concerns were a success, both the Town Council and Hertfordshire
Constabulary were very pleased with the results. Full details and
photographs will be placed on the website as soon as possible, I will
send a general email once that has been done.



2005 details;



Entry will be by ticket only and must be pre-booked. WE DO NOT
ANTICIPATE ALLOWING ENTRY ON THE NIGHT WITHOUT A PASS. 



Access to the Common will be restricted to vehicles over 20 years old.
Applications for more modern classics will only be accepted as part of a
club entry and at the discretion of the organisers. (You can email me
first for a decision if you wish)   



Your entry fee includes a souvenir plaque if received by 1st June 2005.



Proceeds from the event this year will be divided between St. Georges
School Harpenden and Grove House Hospice.

MAKE THE CHEQUE (still just £2) PAYABLE TO 'Rover P5 Club' and send it
to me as per the form, not forgetting to enclose a stamped self
addressed envelope.
