Chris, thats Some garage!  The problem I have is that the house is in a conservation area so I've got them involved as well as planning and Highways.  I wouldn't like to have the bill for your size garage though!!

  Councils and planners can be nightmare!  There is normally no limit on
  planning grounds, providing you have enough room and only intend to use
  it for "private purposes".  

  My new plans (yet to be agreed) on my very large site, include a garage
  28' wide by 58' long...we'll see how I get on..

  months so far to get the council to agree to the size!!  Mines now
  shrunk from 20ftx20ft to 16ft by 20ft aarrhh.  We'll have to compare

    What a lovely day.The sun is out the sky is blue here,and I`m having 
    a new garage built for my delorean.The foundations are now being put 
    down,Three lorry loads have been already.She is in a garage at the
