Richard,
I think I have some s/hand rear springs. Your best bet would be to
remove your low one and pop around and well find you a longer one.
I had to do something similar on Dusty.
Best regards

Subject: Re: [doc] Rear Suspension
Thanks all. Well, I've been checking and measuring, and despite there
being
no aparent physical problems with the spring, it does seem shorter on
the
driver's than the passenger's side, as the chassis itself is slightly
down,
not just the body. Apparently they can acquire some sort of permanent
set
after a while - perhaps it was always stored on a hill back in Ohio?
There's around 7mm difference between the heights of the rear towing
hoops
on the chassis, which translates on the body to approx. 15mm difference
between the top of the wheelarches - not much, but you can convince
yourself
it's just about noticeable once you've first spotted it.
So...
Anyone have a new rear spring, or am I looking to Houston?
(Interestingly,
I'm heading over to Northern Ireland this weekend too, so if anyone
knows of
one there, let me know!!! Actually, no. Scratch that. They wouldn't
be
too keen in having it in hand luggage...)
Cheers folks,
Rich Hanlon
