RE: [doc] Re: New Stainless Ex. Sys.

James,

I see the 5 orders being a potential problem.

It was basically the same with the other company, who have sold a lot
more than 5 by now. It's all about covering the cost of making the jigs.
I'm not sure how much demand there is at present.

I think I'd be happier getting them to fit the first few, just in case
they need tweaking.   I suspect we may be better off sticking to our
current manufacturer, they seem to have the job sorted.

They certainly could be fitted locally, but it would need a top notch
crew to avoid snapping off the 7mm studs, very easily done if your heavy
handed or inexperienced.

Best regards

Chris,

Intersting to hear that there may be an alternative, a new free-flow
exhause has always been on my wish list.

To get a really good price on this someone needs to guarantee them
an order of say 5 units, paid up front with some reddies.

Do they actually fit the finished exhaust system as well?

Unfortunately I'm daaaan saaafff in Essex so Nottingham is not too
convenient. I know some semi-pro chavs who could probably knock em
up for less doh ray me.

I suppose you could have them made at one place and have them fitted
locally, would a local garage take on an exhaust fit on a DeLorean?
I guess they would.

James
