Yep, As good as the Esprit was it is a complete
b*stard to work on.
If you want to change the belts then the complete
engine and gearbox HAVE to come out inorder to gain
access. Exhaust manifolds keep cracking if you drive
a little to lead footed and keep the turbo on.
And getting parts out of Lotus can be a complete
nightmare. Either out of stock, on back order,
discontinued or they send the wrong part.
No, so far I have to say that the Delorean is a nicer
car to work on.

They should have asked Dan Shane, who got out of
Esprit ownership due to
