It happens. You either need a new fuel pump boot or it's popped off the
top of the tank - it's poorly designed, but really easy to fix. It's not
always easy to completely -stop- leaks though.
We've got new boots at a special price of £45 each at the moment.
It happenned to me on a visit to my mate's place in Portsmouth. I filler
mine up and caught myself wondering why my shoes kept sticking to the
floor. Turns out my natural rubber soles were melting in the fuel!
(anyone who's ever worn latex gloves for fuel tank work will know this
effect!).
For a small amount of reassurance, remeber on the DeLorean the fuel tank
is nowhere near the exhaust, unlike most other cars.
