According to Dave Howarth, it's a "ringer" in fact he sold the Engine out of it to Andy Snell, and still has the gear box. I don't KNOW any of this for sure, but Its what Dave believes. I saw a TV show the other day with a chap who said he owned the Magnum car! The February edition of 'Classic & Sports Car" as a small article detailing the sale of the Edinburgh 'Cars of the Stars" museum. Whilst it is advertised as a £300,000 going concern, amongst the vehicles offered 'for hire/sale' is 'one of the DeLoreans from Back to the Future'. When I last visited the larger Keswick museum the car displayed was from BTTF-3, the one used in the scene where the car is pulled along by the horses; as such much of the 'heavy' internals had been removed (engine gearbox etc). No prices are listed. Contact 01768 7772810 or cotsmm2@xxxx Alternatively the 'Moon Buggy' from UFO, 'Herbie', Magnums 308GTS, or the Vanquish from 'Die Another Day' are available!
