If they were that good a buy, then someone in American would buy them, and
they would have minimal transport costs compared to us.

I recon it could cost up to 10K to get it all back here. Then who would
store them? Who would store all the bits? Who would decide who had which
bits/ cars? A recipe to ruin a few friendships I think!

I think you've actually got 4/5 cars (one painted) , all stripped
down...why? Why were they taken to bits all those years ago?
The chassis pictures look OK at first glance, look closer and you can see
the grey has been re-done as has the black paint on the springs.
I bet you would not have any good bits left over once you had re-assembled a
few cars. It could cost many thousands to sort them out.

A fully running yellow painted car in the UK could not find a home at 5k a
couple of years ago.

Go ahead if you like boys, I don't like to be a killjoy, but unless you
inspect all the stuff properly, make a comprehensive inventory etc. I think
it would "end in tears". Pay for someone to fly over..it's the only way.
