Re: [doc] Delayed DeLorean and Gas.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your support, MXI has come a long way in one year, just think what it will be like after 2!!...

I thought about a jeep, but I was brought up on Land Rovers (First drove on when I was 7!,I am British to the core!) and have grown up with them... This new one does have a lot more toys then any other landy that I have owned.. well worth the wait!.

MXI will see you in 2005!!

Merry Xmas!

Alan and MXI, and the Rangie

Alan,

I'm sorry that your DeLorean restoration will be delayed a little, but I'm
sure you'll get it finished on day. We all have to re-assess our priorities
from time to time.

All the best with your gas conversion. When I bought my Jeep Grand
Cherokee, I deliberately went for the slightly, old fashioned 4ltr. Instead
of the V8, because the gas conversion is much simpler and less expensive. I
too like half price fuel.

Had I researched it a little better, I would have bought the pre-99 shape
(instead of the latest) because it possible to stick huge gas tanks under
floor on that one, rather than the dinky little "donut" tank in my spare
wheel well, with its range of only 120 miles. I still could have the
underside heavily modified to get more tanks in, but at a cost of a couple
of Grand, I put up with the inconvenience.

My Jeep already converted, with 45 K miles was only 12.5K twelve months ago,
I love it. You ask Stewart about my stock sound system with its infinity
speakers! We had a full blast yesterday evening on the way back from
Wembley.

Subject: [doc] MXI 4811 on hold for another year!

Hi all,

Due to the fact I have just bought an N reg Range Rover V8 4.0L to replace
my everyday Discovery... I have now decided that MXI will have to stay of
the road for another year, as I am looking to get the rangie LPG converted I
will have to save up and for that, MXI will be put on hold until 2005, I
know Chrispy, and a few other members will be gutted that MXI will not be
able to go to any shows next year, but it does give me more time to work on
the car and to let me save up! ... Sorry!!!!

does anyone know of any cheap companys who do LPG conversions?, I have heard
one quote at 1600 pounds for the rangie (then I heard that the goverment
paid 75% of the cost because it produced less emmisions?, don`t know how
true that is?)

any comments welcome?

Alan, MXI and the Rangie!
