A little comment that may save someone some time in future:- When you are putting the engine back in on (a manual car), be sure to tie shut the clutch slave cylinder. If you inadvertently jack up the gear box, slightly too high, the clutch activating arm can foul the body and move, causing the thrust bearing to come adrift....hence the engine is all put but back in, and the clutch fails to work! Cost us 2 hours today! Frenchy's new engine ( number 437) is all now all safely back in, just the plumbing to do now! Chris Parnham
