Actually, you've given me an idea there.....Merc's still 
have 'umbrella' handbrakes, how easy would it be to adapt to the 
DeLorean? Probably more hassle then its worth, but just a thought. 
It was the only difficult bit of getting in and out of Flopsy when my 
leg was bandaged up. I found it easier then the Clio because I could 
just push myself up where the headliner goes when the door was open 
to get in and out, plus the 'stretched out' driving position was much 
more comfy.
