This is great stuff Martin, and I'm proud to have been one of your first major clients. The headlights are working well on PSO now, and the underbody has never looked better after my painting session on Sunday. Now I'm just itching to epoxy and paint every last piece of the underbody until I'm left with a spotless, grey and black, shiny finish. Mmmm. Red hammerite anyone?
A friend of mind took a ride in the car to a country club last night. The last time he'd been in the car for a drive was well over a year ago. I warned him that she was a hell of a lot more powerful now, but he just replied "yeh yeh" and told me he wasn't expecting much. 20 mins and 23 hard bends at speeds approaching 65mph, along with some fairly exciting 85mph dashes down curving country roads, and he was convinced. I can't repeat the words that first came from Brents mouth, but they rhymed with "Clucking Bell". Job well done. Sadly I can't quite stretch to a new free-flow exhaust for the moment, or even refurb my wheels. But when a car is this much fun to drive, who cares. Next summer sees phases 3 of PSOs work, free-flow, refurb wheels, total grey leather interior with dark grey carpets and new shocks all round. She is already a superb right-hander, but she's fast becoming legendary.
Have a look at the DMUK site, it includes many of the parts used on PSO's recent work, and gives a very good idea of Martin and Daves abilities with every aspect of the Delorean. Keep up the excellent work and thanks for the excellent Sunday in Stevenage.
Kind regards to all,
Stephen.
