I spoke to a very nice lady at Gates who said it was an American part number
(surprise) and she couldn't get it. Surely someone must have changed hoses
at some time. Throw me a bone here.

I need a hose, water pump, nearside (and an offside one would be good, too).
Anyone know where I can get one? The cross ref guide has Gates part
numbers, and they appear to be in Cambridge. 

Still, at least my petrol gauge works, eh, Chris? I know the ignominy of
sitting beside a broken down D, but people are still remarkably friendly. I
had hardly a spare moment during my 2 1/2 hour wait at the garage.
