Sorry you didn't make it Tony. My top hose had been routed quite differently to yours, mine looked horrid as it was masking the upper alloy breather pipe, but at least It was free of the engine block. I have finally decided not to re-install the turbo with Frenchy's new engine, but instead have agreed to sell it to a club member who was very interested in it yesterday at Gaydon. I know with his many years of expertise of working on these cars, he will eventually sort out a good working set up. Both Backy and Delores are still both recovering from the shock of getting wet yesterday. Backy, for the first time ever, and Delores the first time in 2 1/2 years! (I think Andy's "Auto" is going through similar trauma)! I drove nearly 100 miles back with no front number plate on Backy....but I don't think any one noticed it!!!!!!!!! I managed to get up in time, despite imbibing freely of sparkly fermented grape juice at Saturday's wedding, but saw clouds of white stuff in my mirror again on the M3. Fortunately, it was not smoke but steam. I had a water hose split. Couldn t effect a repair, so had to be RAC Relayed home. Funny thing was, the garage who came with the relay truck, based in Twyford, had a logo comprising a relay truck with a Delorean on it! The guy said they once transported a D to (or from?) Guernsey, the story being that it was kept in lieu of payment for UK certification fees. Could this be true? The hose runs from the top of the water pump & thermostat housing out to the left to a smaller diameter junction. It had been replaced with the engine rebuild so I don't know why it has gone. It runs over some pretty hot metal though. Glad you had a good time, but I would like to have made it 15 cars, and seen people. regards to all Tony Lawther Southampton [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] DOC UK Website: www.delorean.co.uk Unsubscribe: doc-uk-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ** Unless otherwise stated, all messages posted to the group are assumed public and may be printed in the club magazine ** Your use of Yahoo!
