One of the US dealers has done over 400, 000 miles in his. .I'm sure Martin knows who it is, I cant remember. We did have a UK member who used his as a daily driver for a couple of years, Alan Henry, but the car has now passed on to another club member now who is getting it top notch again. I'm sure they'd be as reliable as any other 20 year car, with regular maintenance. BTW the yanks "better weather" can result in truly terrible sun damage to the interior and rubber and plastic bits. Give me a "dark stored" one any day. But I prefer mine for special, fine weather trips. In fact I'd say that Backy has never been wet and Delores last got wet at Eurofest 2001. I don't think you can count wiping over with a damp sponge! I know plenty of Americans do but I guess their weather can be better. Also does anyone have a high mileage car, say over 100k or 200k miles? Do they stand this kind of mileage ok?
