Re: [doc] Car Shows

I sympathise Stuart. I too am happy to let people sit in and take photos
but only when I'm around. They're usually really pleased. I don't really
like seeing cars with loads of Do Not... stickers on them. However, I know
you get some strange people around. It is a paradox that if you take your
car to a show, and want to give people value for money by staying with the
car to make it accessible you don't get to look round the show yourself!

Glad you went, though. It's good fun being the only Delorean at a show
occasionally, isn't it?

Subject: [doc] Car Shows

I've just been to the Two Counties motor show in Newmarket which was pretty
good. The car generated huge interest but a bit too much...

When I parked the car I left it with the doors up (well it is a DeLorean).
I lost
count of how many times I came back to the car and there were kids
clambering about inside and playing with stuff - sometimes the parents were
telling them to get in!!!! I don't mind kids sitting in the car if they
asked first and
would be the first to say they could. It got to the stage where I locked
the
doors which was a shame for everyone. Next time I'll make some "please do
not touch" signs! Am I being unreasonable? I just can't understand some
people.

Moan over,

Stuart
