James, I know its very frustrating trying to get spares out of Dave and he refuses to master the internet despite some heavy coaching by such folk as Chris Spratt etc. For Dave it's a hobby , not a business, he doesn't want to get too organised! However he has a huge pool of Knowledge, I often end up picking out little gems during our long telephone chats! He is getting low on many items now and is keen to keep at least one set of everything, in case he ever needs it for his cars. He could latterly build one from scratch! From the Chassis to the vin plate, it could even have a bullet proof 4 ply windscreen! I know Dave is not out to make big money on the parts he has and most people on this list who do stuff for the love of the car usually with little or no profit or sometimes a loss. If information about the parts that Dave has for sale, was posted on the intertnet, perhaps on the DOC site, and updated once a month then I am sure he would clear his stuff quite quickly. It does not surprise me that Dave is backing out of the spares business with so little support from members. No they don't have the DMC logo, only genuine one's will have, but many of the genuine one's are now starting to de-laminate, around the edge with age. Your tax disc cover up the logo anyway. > > Technology has moved on and I believe w/screens are now made just using a set of numbers, but it does little to support the clubs founder to clear the last of his 8 year old stock! > > Just a thought. > > Chrispy > > I'm not having a go at any one in particular, I've been think about this one for the last year or two.
