My car developed this fault last year and I'm still not sure that it is fixed as I haven't had time to drive it. In fact I think I've driven the car once this year so far. I have the fans wired so I can put them on when I like. I have the bleed kit installed. When I'm stuck in traffic and the temperature starts to rise I can make it go down by turning on the fans. However, when I drive fast the temperature goes up and up and I have to slow down or stop and let it cool down again. At least that is what WAS happening. I had my mate flush the system as I thought there was a blockage. He said the water came out clean and would have expected it to be brown if there was a blockage. I'm going to try a drive about soon and see if it still overheats. Please don't tell me to take out the thermostat or anything like that as I only found out the engine was in the rear when I went to stow some luggage! Paul
