RE: [doc] Re: Delorean on Autotrader

When I was looking around for a Delorean, I saw an advert for a lefty with a cream leather interior. I spoke with the guy on the phone about the car, but the asking price seemed to high at the time, also I wasn't that keen onan left hander anyway. In the end I gave the car a miss. I guess this is the same car coming up for sale 2 years on. When it was for sale in classic car magazine two years ago, it had an asking price of £12,500. Which sounds more realistic than the 15K the dealer wants. Also, the cream interior didn't look right then, and it still seems awful now, but that's just a personal opinion, it has to be grey (or black) to be an excellent car. :P

P.S. Martin, I'll be on the phone regarding PSOs garage work today. Money not the problem, just trying to find time to sit down and order the parts. Ihave set myself an hour aside today to order them, hopefully we can get the car picked up late next week if possible. I'll speak later though.

I dont think it is that sun damaged one that was for sale from that Kevin Donkin(or similar)bloke who was going to
America I saw him advertise that on the Autotrader website a few weeks ago and it seems he may have put
cream leather interior in it. It might be the same but Martin didn't describe it a 'Fantastic Example' like the
Dealer does!! Unless he sold it to the garage for £10000 like he said and they've done it up ready to sell for £15000.

Allan

Thanks for this, I have spoken to the seller and will hopefully go
and see it this week. It has apparently had a new engine very
recently that came over from the states and the car has done 37,000
Miles.

The Chassis Number is 5424 - does anyone have any background or info
on this car - the seller says he bought it from someone in Godalming,
Surrey - has been in the UK since 1991 and the last owner has had it
since 1995.

Any info gratefully received.

Thanks
