Hi Jordan, I think the mod was required from 4xxx or something. It's
on the DMCnews website.

It sounds like you could benefit from an additional dedicated earth
strap to the starter as Kevin recommends. I may have to start making
these as we have a sponsor on the robot by the name of High Density
Cables Ltd... Nuff said!
