Re: [doc] Earth Lead and ECU

To Kevin,
Good luck, hope it cures the problem. I've just posted a pic of the ecu although its one of many I took. I am going to write an easy guide on how to repair them. If you can use a small soldering iron then it should be no problem. I am sure it maybe only 1 or 2 of the chips but as they are so cheap I just replaced them all. Saves time messing about. It takes my about 2 hours to fully repair and test one.
Nick.

I will look forward to your posting on the ECU.

The Earth Lead I am using is a heavy grade cable and should take all
the current and more, the next grade up is welding cable!

The problem with cleaning the strap to the cross member is that you
would need to lift the engine of it mounts to get to the bolt. For
normal purposes the earth lead is fine until you need the heavy
current for cranking.

Regards
