James, all the rev counter go sproing when the igntition is turned off.
It's a DeLorean Feature :-)
It's driving the car in the wet and partucularly the salt that will affect the frame more than sitting still. We'll see with Rich's new one when it arrives. That's lived outside in Florida for 10 years. To strip the chassis, galvanise and powder coat it costs not much over a grand. Martin James Macpherson wrote: Says its never been started but the rev counter is showing rpm and the temp gauge is reading, could be stuck I suppose. But I wouldn't really call the car 'stored' I think 'left' or 'forgotten' would be more accurate!!I would be very worried about the condition of the frame with it being left on grass for so long.
