That plastic bumper paint is terriffic stuff but only good for plastic surfaces. When I did my windcreen surround, I used "Plasti-Cote" satin black with a metal primer. A can of each should provide more than enough even allowing for cock-ups. What do you mean by the "plastic underneath the doors in the centre" - the rocker covers? I suggest just clean them and use black trim wax. We could run down the side stripe too if you like, and there's always the wing mirrors though I've never painted them (black wax brings them up quite nicely). Verity's up for the paint (and drinking) session too. Perhaps we should have an early-year DeLorean get-together!? I'll buy all the bits a couple of weeks in advance, ie order in specific paints. Did you list what was needed for painting the strip above the windscreen? I think every other painted part of the car was listed. Would that be enough black bumper paint, to do the plastic underneath the doors in the centre too? If we can get all the external areas of the painted up and perfect, I'd be a happy chappie. -------------------------------------------------------------------- mail2web - Check your email from the web at http://mail2web.com/ .
