Does any one know if there is a grey glovebox lid around, ready to be swapped out for a grey glovebox lid, with the vinyl coming up on the side nearest the windshield? I really can't fix this thing up and just want to find a replacement.

Does anyone know where I can obtain the black leather surround for the manual gear-stick, mine has some small but unsightly holes?

Can some-one recommend a company in the south that has successfully sandblasted, and repainted their wheels for them? I'm looking for a lacquer finish and really decent price? Any one have any ideas?

For touching up small chips on the fascias, can anyone recommend a good touchup paint/stick. I know fascia colours vary, but if you can remember the colour found on PSO, it would help. How is it best to match paints if unsure?

>> Go to Halfords and pick out three cans of Rover Gumetal - it's NOT the same, but a very good colour, Four cans of red plastic primer, three cans of black plastic bumper paint and two cans of lacquer. Add to this a tube of flexible bumper filler and a pack of assorted sandpaper sheets. Learn how to paint them..... I'm quite pleased with mine:

How do you remove the glass fronts of the headlights. I need to clean up the metal surrounds, and give the insides of the lights a clean. Is it really just thos screws in-between the lights, or am I simplifying?

>> Steve, steve......maaaaaaate. We have a phrase in our job, I'm sure you've heard it. It's commonly abbreviated to R T F M (that's if looking at it and working it out fails....)

There are 4 screws, one each side and two at the top of each light. You might have to flex the fascia out of the way - but you'll be taking it off to paint it anyway, won't you? :-)

My front fascia currently has droopy parts over the head light. I've heard all the hairdryer fixes, but how is the best way to attempt this. Is this best done when repainting the whole front fascia, or can you do it with keeping the paint untouched? Can it be done whilst the fascia is on the car? (Couldn't think how, but worth a shot)

>> Heat gun, planks of wood, G-clamps. Much easier off the car.

Whats the best way to get an even black finish on the rear louvers?

>> Either Halfords black plastic bumper paint (with primer), which is nigh on impossible to f up, or even easier, a bottle of Car Plan Black Trim Wax

Likewise for the strip above the front windshield?

>> Gone all american have we? We call it a Windscreen over here :-P. The surround is stainelss and needs to be painted. Charles at the Diesel Centre did mine a year ago and there're no chips yet...

Does this need to be painted, if so, which paint would other recommend?

>> Satin black. Metal primer first!!! (I'm sure this is why so many are chipped)

What is the fastest, most effective way to clean the engine bay? I need it free from dust, grease and dirt?

>> Steam Clean. But would you trust it?! I intend taking my engine apart down to to the heads for a bloody good clean and paint the rusty bits, replace all the seals etc.
