Martin, List, ?50 is a fair bit of money, but if we get a good percentage of renewals after Christmas , we could consider it. We spend a lot more on printing than we used to, this swallows up most of our subs, I'm not moaning, just commenting! BTW Our club stand at the NEC is now confirmed, we can get 3 or 4 cars on, plus this time, we will have a very large display area for "products", memorabilia etc. I will be getting some more Sun Star models for sale along with club clothes, cleaning materials, w/screan stickers, etc etc. Amongst the cars on show, I will be displaying my new BTTF, 111 mile car along with its new polished stainless steel, very noisy, free flow exhaust. ( available direct from the maker, contact me) The car will be fitted with the superb BTTF metal work constructed by talented club member, Chris Nicholson. This car has recently been brought back into full running, MOT'd order by our mechanical expert and technical advisor, Mark Bourne. Also on display will be Richard's superb twin turbo car. Here's looking forward to a great, expanded NEC, mark your diaries for 9th and 10th of November Chris P Hon Sec. -----Original Message----- From: Martin Gutkowski [mailto:webmaster@xxxx] Sent: 03 September 2002 09:32 To: doc-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [doc] Association of British Drivers Just a suggestion: How about an associate membership of the Assiciation of British Drivers? http://www.abd.org.uk/join_affiliate.htm ...with main site being at http://www.abd.org.uk They're the ones who generally get interviewed on TV whenever the question of speed cameras and road safety comes up - usually the one that actually has a grain of common sense.
