Stainless Steel Polish

Hi All
Paul Salsbury discovered some magic stainless polish which works wonders
on the DeLorean. For those that weren't at Chrispy's BBQ, you wouldn't
have seen the transformation it made to PSO, getting rid of some nasty
marks. At one point Chris put some Mr Sheen on the bonnet, and we
compared the effect side-by-side. The Mr Sheen was definitely slightly
yellow, whereas this new stuff gives the stainless a slightly "wet"
look. When first applied it looks oily, but this soon dries and you can
buff it up using a soft cloth to a superb shine. It also does a
remarkable job of preventing fingerprints.
It's called Ecolab Stainless Steel Polish, and it smells of lemons :-)
You MUST NOT apply it in direct sunlight, or when the stainless is warm,
because it'll evaporate before you can rub it in properly.
Why am I telling you this? I located a supplier today and ordered 5 cans
(to get free delivery). They are quite big cans and probably good for
15-20 all-over polishes each. If anyone's interested in taking a can off
my hands, I'm after £7 per can. Unfortunately I won't have them by this
w/e. The distributor is regional and I got hold of the one that covers
Kent, so it's of limited use me giving out the phone number. I'm not
making anything on the price of a can, BTW.
Martin
