RE: [doc] Frustration

I have done the rear, But was unable to find a socket
big enough to undo the front hub nut. 38mm I now have
one and just did not get round to putting them on. Now
I'm scratching around for things to do I thought I'd
best get on with it.

Cheers

Paul

My son, Robert, has just taken his 8year old Mondaeo
in, to my very
experienced mechanic to have the front discs replaced,
despite drilling
holes around the fixing rim, soaking with WD40
overnight, Mick still had to
virtually cut the old discs off! I've seen other
people using a sledge
hammer on them!
DeLorean one's are not usually that bad!
I thought you'd already put new discs on Paul?
I am now gradually becoming more frustrated as
time
goes by...

I am trying to replace my front brake discs.

The manual says remove the caliper out of the way,
undo the hub nut, remove the D washer and then
remove
the disc and hub......

Oh no the disc will only move about 5mm them wont
budge, should there be something else removed or
just
a take to it with a rather large hammer!!

Cheers
