Mark Bourne is in Memphis this weekend for the DeLorean car show. He asked
me if there was anything that I needed to be brought back from the US. I
said well yes there are quite a few things. He said no problem.
I checked out the website for the DeLorean weekend and they had taken over
The Heartbreak Hotel on the Graceland estate for the convention. I copied
down the address of the hotel.
So I contacted a few people who were holding DeLorean and Back to the Future
stuff for me over in the US, this included the walkie talkies used by Doc
and Marty, the video camera used by Marty, radiation suits similar to those
worn by Doc and Marty and a copy of Stainless Steel Illusion. I gave them
Mark's name and the address of the hotel. I explained the packages had to
arrive this weekend while he was there.
So today I call the hotel to ask Mark if anything had arrived. The hotel had
never heard of him. Luckily I knew Robert Lamrock, was going to the same car
show and asked for his room. When I spoke to him he said, no Mark is in
Radisson as he was too late to book in here and the hotel is full!
Robert is now going to explain to the desk what has happened. However, some
of the parcels may have already been returned by The Heartbreak Hotel
marked -
'Return to Sender'
