I don't know about removal of the screws, as mine never had them. Had some dodgy aftermarket rockers fitted badly. Have you tried WD40 or rust penetrating oil to help free them up. If you want to remove the rockers, be careful. The top of the trim is held on to the undersill of the car using plastic clips that grab little metal tree things. These will break off if you remove the rocker. Putting new clips on after is not easy either, as far as I know no aftermarket supply of these has been found, and the 20 year old "new" clips, well the plastic is old and breaks when you try to flex it (ie attach the rocker)

Hm - I tried to remove the rusty screws under the DeLorean (the screws securing the rocker panels) with no luck. How do you loosen these? They are very hard to get to, the heads are very flat and the pattern almost none. My screwdriver can't get a good grip. Please advise.
