How do you shift the panels into alignment then? If that Quentin bloke came near my car, I'd duff him up good and proper, then repeatedly slam my gullwing door down onto his shiny head, AKA the final scene in Lock Stock and Four Smoking Barrels. Sorry, got taken away there.

The way the underbody was made allows for as much as halfan inch in
variation in all directions. Consequently all the panelsare adjustable.
All cars are different with some better than others (andQuentin's
comment about throwing a cat through the panel gaps originates here).
Play with adjusting your panels if you like - there's good chance
they've shifted over time
