Hi James,
               My DMC did this to me about 2 months ago. In my case it was the fuse
box. The fuse box on the Delorean is not of the best quality and the spade
type fuses corrode. I solved the problem by taking out the fuses one at a time and cleaning them with a rag sprayed with WD-40.
The fuse that caused the problem if I remember correctly is the instrument cluster
fuse. But if its started playing up like this its time to clean them all.
I noticed that the Voltmeter sits around 13 now. which is about two volts higher
than it was before I cleaned all the fuses. Some sort of resistance due to the
build up of muck on the fuses and fuse holders perhaps?
