There is a bit of a sarcastic tone in Frank Westworth's response. They are
probably having a right laugh at the 'DeLorean-geeks!'

We need to pen a clever response with no attacks or 'passionate' shouting.
The car has some problems, but has excuses for being the product of a brand
new factory set up on one man's concept. How many years of development did
it take Porsche (911) and Lotus to develop quality products? Given that the
car was from a virgin workforce it is of unbelievable quality.

It should be viewed today as a classic speciality car, not a sportscar
competing with 911s etc. It is a "mature-driver's pose-mobile," not a
"boy-racer."

He should be pushed on the point as to whether he actually did drive a car
for this article? ... sounds a bit suspect, especially when he uses old
photos. Everything you quoted from the article, sounds very like Q.Wilson's
article ... any chance he plagerised that article?

Comment should be made about the style of journalism though! The Classic Car
Mart is supposed to be an informative publication for enthusiasts ... not a
comic, with every other line a 'tabloidesque' immature, sarcastic joke.
