Stephen 1) Check the electrical connection to the temp sender located in the RH bank at the back. But what ever you do do not earth the temp sender connection as this will burn out the temp gauge. See item 45 @ http://www.usadmc.com/dmcstore/ViewDir.asp?PageID=10&PageCat=1%2DEngine 2) Also you should change the braker for the fans to a 40amp see item 23 @ http://www.usadmc.com/dmcstore/ViewDir.asp?PageID=44&PageCat=3%2DElectrical 3) Install a Engine Overheat Protector from DMC Joe. It is difficult to get all the air out of the system due to the engine in the back and the rad in the front, also the heating system can trap air. So for $25 its well worth installing. See http://shopping.oraclesmallbusiness.com/app/site/site.nl?site=ACCT4947&mode=items&category=1&it=A&id=654 4) Install a FanZilla..expensive @£150 but why mess around if you want reliablility and want the best for your car. Just plug and play http://www.pjgrady.com/lgspec.asp?id=8 Chris S Vin 16327 > -----Original Message----- > From: Stephen Strelczak [mailto:STEPHEN.STRELCZAK@xxxx] > Sent: 07 May 2002 11:00 > To: doc-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [doc] Coolant system problems. > > > Dear All, > > after a wonderful weekend in Devon with my fiance Paula, and my > Delorean Lola, I was let down in a huge way by my coolant system.
