Mike has raised some good points, however I suspect that money is quite a big issue here. The other big problem is lack of cars for sale in the UK. ( Alan Henry's car was sold today) During the last 6 months many of the "Club" cars for sale have now sold. Plus 2 that were advertised privately. There are now only 5, (including my two.) The cheapest being a painted one for ?8K , the next one is ?11.5.....next is ?17k..etc. I suppose the import option starts to look a little more attractive, if complicated.
